By using ExactKB you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, close the site. The software is provided free of charge, as-is, without a warranty of any kind.
The service
ExactKB is a browser-based image encoder. We do not host your files, open accounts, or submit applications on your behalf. Form, visa, and exam rules change; presets are conveniences, not legal advice, and not an official government tool.
Acceptable use
- Use the tool on photos you have the right to process.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site or use it to distribute malware.
- Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades service for others.
No professional advice
Hitting a kilobyte target does not make a photograph compliant with passport, visa, or exam composition rules. We are not a photo studio and not affiliated with UPSC, Passport Seva, USDS, or any bank or university mentioned as an example.
Intellectual property
Site copy, mark, and design belong to the operator. You keep every right in the photos you process — we never receive them. You may use the downloaded files for any lawful purpose.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for rejected applications, lost deadlines, or damages arising from a file size, a browser bug, or a changed portal rule. Encode, inspect the file on disk, and confirm the official notice before you submit.
Ads
The free site may display third-party advertisements. Ads are not endorsements. We do not style ads as the primary download action.
Changes
We may update these terms by publishing a new date on this page. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms.
Availability
The site is a static deploy. We do not promise uptime, a particular browser version, or that a future Cloudflare or browser change will keep every HEIC decodable. If the tool fails, keep your original file and try another browser or an official export from Photos. We are not liable for a missed deadline caused by a decode error or a changed portal rule. Guides and presets can go stale; you remain responsible for the notice in force on the day you apply.
No affiliation
Mentions of UPSC, CSE, SSC, IBPS, PAN, Passport Seva, DS-160, NSDL, or any university, bank, or embassy are examples of where a kilobyte limit commonly appears. ExactKB is not their vendor, not their helpdesk, and not an official instruction. If an official notice conflicts with a preset or a guide, follow the notice.
You are solely responsible for confirming file size, format, pixels, background, and crop before you submit an application. A successful encode is not a promise of acceptance.
